Green times
The fifth festival was marked with a new location and a new concept. We wanted to raise the profile of culture and environment at our event. The festival was moved to botanical garden, a nature jewel in city center. The festival consisted with green community segment; presentation of top environmental organizations in Serbia; WWF, National Park Djerdap, Centrala, Young researchers of Serbia, Futura, Belgrade flower festival, Sekopak and Recan, Orca, Amfora, Extreme summit team, Freestyler and many others.
Green market was a showcase of organic and authentic serbian food products; Honey from Homolje mountains, cabage from Futog, Ajvar from Leskovac, organic fruits and vegetables and ecological home maintatance products.
Green classroom was an educational spot at the festival with top world and domestic environmentalists, lecturing the audience on broad encological issues. Ian Illuminato,campaigner at Friends of the Earth, Chris Weiss from DC environmental network, Slow Food movement with Biagio Carrano, Bane Markovic Mungos- scuba diving and ecology, Dragan Jacimovic- mountains and environmental protection, Respect your Mountain with Steward Shepard Clean energy with Lale Jankovic & Rambo Amadeus and many more
The music was suited for the ambient. Jazz with Nicola Conte, Ibrica Jusic, Sars, Tijana Todorovic and a spectacular classical music concert of Aleksandar Simic and the Seraphim.
Dharma Village; special guests at the festival were an Italian holistic traveling tribe Dharma Village. Promotion of healthy life, yoga, dance, massage and arts and crafts were a perfect display of life in harmony with nature.
